Party Weekend!

Wow, am I sure glad this week is over! I was so busy with helping get things ready for Kylee Jarnagins wedding such as the wedding video, and decorating, and bachlerotte party!! It all went so well and I decided I do not want to have a wedding!! (JK) But seriously... it is so much work. But I'm going to start talking about the week with Thursday. 
Thursday: I had the great idea of having some male guy friends come to the bachlerotte party to do a little seductive sassy dance for Kylee and I was SO excited to surprise everyone at the party with it that I couldn't even focus on anything that day. It was so hard keeping it all to myself and I just wanted the night to be here already. So finally 6:30 rolled around and all the girls gathered at the Lyons for the party and the plan was to "Carpool" to Kona Grill at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Little did Kylee know, that we got a Limo for us to all go in. So I totally surprised her with that and we crammed 14 people into the stretch limo and we danced, cheered, and had a fun time in that. Dinner was tasty as always then we headed back to the Lyons for presents and games! She got tons of cute lingerie & stuff. We played hot cucumber, clothespin game, dictionary, charades, wedding Madlib, and the lifesaver, orange, cucumber relay. At 10:15  I started to get nervous cause I hadn't heard from the boys yet about them still dancing.. and low a behold about 5 minutes later Derek said they were not coming b/c Justin & Josh didn't feel good and he didn't want to come by himself. I was SO sad because I knew that would of been the icing on the cake for the night & Kylee would of thought it was hilarious :( But the night was still super fun and a good last girls night before she got married! 
Friday: I worked ALL day then rushed over to the church to help set up the reception (which looked BEAUTIFUL) then I was on a time crunch to get the wedding video done, and I did get it done by 9:15 that night! It was so fun to work on it and they loved it! Then Jess & I rushed over to Haley's house to go with a bunch of friends to have a campfire! There was a good amount of people there and it was fun roasting marshmallows and talking with the friends! :)
Saturday: WEDDING DAY!  Ed & Kylee got married and we had a fun time taking pictures cause we all got a long so well and it is always fun being a bridesmaid with a bunch of your closest friends! Kylee looked STUNNING and so happy! The reception had good food, and fun people there then we tried to force some dancing at the end but not too many people joined in.. haha. But ya it was a good time lots of work goes into a wedding and I hope when I get married I have a lot of help!!
P.S. Today for break the fast I made the Cookie, Oreo Brownie delight thing I saw on pintrest... and oh my gosh.. possibly my new favorite dessert! Soo amazing!

September First Camping Trip with Myla

  Started out with Labor Day and Lucas had it off so Micah joined us on a bike ride. We we’re still watching the Millett’s so we had Jane sleep over so she could watch Myla while we rode. Then we had breakfast and hung out there and then had all the cousins over for a swim party to celebrate Alli & Jacobs birthday. Now What?

This past month has been different and not quite what I was expecting. This whole semester I had been working hard for ADI and with the hope that they would hire me on after the internship was over. They had been telling me multiple times that they love me and are trying to get a position open to keep me here for good. Having that said I was kind of banking of getting hired post graduation. Well a couple weeks ago Sue took me to lunch to inform me that they actually do not have a position available because Hotel Site Select has not taken off as fast as they were hoping and they will not have the money to pay me. I was pretty upset and sad because I really LOVE this business, and the other employees are so good to me, and I was already making my future plans to be with them. That lunch meeting was not the happiest, and I was pretty down the next week or so. October Beginning of Holidays

First day of the month and we had the Bodine ladies over for sister lunch which was really refreshing since we had been home all week not feeling good. It was a good time like always, I’m glad to have them as my sister in laws! Friday we did pickleball with the Skousen’s, Packard’s, and Standage’s for date night and it was super fun to be active and have a group date night! Saturday I had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding that was from 8:30am-7:30pm. It was looong but fairly easy since there is a lot of driving to different locations. It was also conference so I listened to a little bit during the drives. Sunday we started potty training... again. We woke up and “threw” the diapers away and made Myla say goodbye to them and she gladly did. Then we put on underwear and told her to tell us every time she has to go.
