Edinburgh the Most Magical City
Then we went to the National Museum of Scotland which had a animals, history, and other cool things. It was a nice break from the cold weather. Then we went to the University and ran into 3 missionaries on campus, one of them was from Utah but had an accent already and we really didn't believe he was from Utah. He had to tell us like 3 times that he really was from there. Then the other was from Utah and one was from London. We talked about our trip with them and then asked them about how missionary work was out here and they said a lot of college age kids get baptized, it's the older people who are harder to teach. It was pretty cool running into them. Then we ate at Byron Burgers which was actually really delicious. Then we did some souvineer shopping, then headed up a mountain to Arthur's seat. It wasn't necessarily a hard hike, only took about 30 minutes to get up, but we were in our coats, boots, scarfs, heavy bags, so it winded us a bit. But the view at the top was worth it, compete 360 view of the town! Really incredible. We took our time down so we wouldn't slip in the mud and at that point our feet were killing us! We just went back to the apartment to sit for an hour before we needed to head to the airport to catch our flight to London! Overall Edinburgh has been my favorite place and I am so sad we only spent 24 hours there and can't wait to come back someday!
