Skydiving!!

 
I FINALLY DID IT!!! I went Skydiving IN HAWAII! It doesn't get much better than that!! Like for reals! I was super nervous on the plane ride up, and my tandem jumper was super funny, and pullin jokes on me saying he wasn't certified and ya di ya di ya da and all the stuff they say to scare you. So after the long 12 minute flight into the sky to 13,000 feet they finally opened the door. My friend Mia was first to go out and seeing her barrel roll out of there was so crazy, then Skylar went, then my guy scooted us to the edge and I looked out the plane and said crap I am really going! But they give you no time to even think about backing out they just jump when you least expect it! I requested to do a gainer out of the plane and sure enough we did that followed by like 4 or 5 other backflips!! It was the coolest feeling EVER! We were spinning and flipping and I had no idea where I was! Then finally I was stomach down just free falling. Arms opened, face up, legs back going 120 mph towards the ground. It was really cloudy so we didn't see anything during the free fall but pure whiteness then after about 50 seconds of free falling (longest 50 seconds of my life) we pop out of the cloud, pull the chute, and you see an incredible view of the ocean, whales, green mountains, and etc. it was spectacular!! My guy then said, "So you wanna control the parachute?" I was like for reals? Sure!! I held onto the ropes and if you pull hard right or left you start to do 360's and that was so much fun!! So we goofed off in the air for about 3 minutes and then we had to land :( I wish it could of been longer... but It was so worth the money! I absolutely loved it and will definitely be doing it again someday! :)

  Started out with Labor Day and Lucas had it off so Micah joined us on a bike ride. We we’re still watching the Millett’s so we had Jane sleep over so she could watch Myla while we rode. Then we had breakfast and hung out there and then had all the cousins over for a swim party to celebrate Alli & Jacobs birthday. Myla started developing a rash around her eyes and mouth that seems to be caused from heat. It flares up in the car and after naps. So hopefully it will go away soon. We had Sunday dinner with my family and the boys had fun laughing Myla around In a box. This week I filmed Traci Beagley and her breast cancer journey and it was very powerful and I’m glad I was able to be apart of bringing awareness to so many. Now What?

This past month has been different and not quite what I was expecting. This whole semester I had been working hard for ADI and with the hope that they would hire me on after the internship was over. They had been telling me multiple times that they love me and are trying to get a position open to keep me here for good. Having that said I was kind of banking of getting hired post graduation. Well a couple weeks ago Sue took me to lunch to inform me that they actually do not have a position available because Hotel Site Select has not taken off as fast as they were hoping and they will not have the money to pay me. I was pretty upset and sad because I really LOVE this business, and the other employees are so good to me, and I was already making my future plans to be with them. That lunch meeting was not the happiest, and I was pretty down the next week or so. October Beginning of Holidays

First day of the month and we had the Bodine ladies over for sister lunch which was really refreshing since we had been home all week not feeling good. It was a good time like always, I’m glad to have them as my sister in laws! Friday we did pickleball with the Skousen’s, Packard’s, and Standage’s for date night and it was super fun to be active and have a group date night! Saturday I had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding that was from 8:30am-7:30pm. It was looong but fairly easy since there is a lot of driving to different locations. It was also conference so I listened to a little bit during the drives. Sunday we started potty training... again. We woke up and “threw” the diapers away and made Myla say goodbye to them and she gladly did. Then we put on underwear and told her to tell us every time she has to go.
