20 years old... yikes!



Then....        and now


Welp its was my birthday yesterday and I am 20 years old!! Its hard to believe I am half way to 40! Ahh So this past weekend was my birthday weekend!! Woo Friday went to the beach and the school play and the talent show then SATURDAY was party day! I was set on going Paddle boarding in Kailua (which is the number one beach on Oahu) It was so beautiful and the water was warm and clear and was the ideal Hawaiian water! So paddle boarding is actually easy which was a relief! We had two boards between the 6 of us girls for 4 hours and took turns going out. It was neato. The water was super clear we could see all the reef and such and also a teenage turtle! Then when we were off we played volleyball soccer, and tanned and swam. It was a very great afternoon spent with my favorite girls here!

 Then Tori told us that Duke's was THEE restaurant we needed to go to. So taking her word for it we headed to Waikiki to eat there. HOLY COW WAS IT GOOD!! I had a Mango BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with waffle fries on the side that was to die for!!

Then on the way out the hostess stopped me and shoved a HUGE piece of Hula pie into my hands! I was SO excited! I only had like two bites cause everyone pounced on it! 
Then we looked around the strip a little bit and then began our trek back home! Sunday Huston and Kilie made one of my favorite dishes ever... Lucky Chicken!! It's my nanna's recipe and i was worried it might not turn out like hers but it definitely did! They made it just as good as hers :) Thanks guys! Then of course it was followed by my favorite cake! Confetti cake with Rainbow chip frosting! mmm
 Then yesterday my actual birthday my home teachers took us out to Kahuku Grill and it was soo great. Best Coconut Shrimp ever!! So all three birthday meals were DELICIOUS! My birthday was a great one filled of fun, laughter, food, and awesome people. Thanks everyone for making it awesome!

    Awe...my beautiful baby girl...HAPPY 20 YEARS...you've truly been the Light of Our Lives...but seriously...you couldn't find a better picture of THEN...you picked the one that has me with my big FAT lip problem...seriously want to burn those pictures...5 years of HE...double toothpicks...but the only joy was YOU during those horrible 5 years. Anyway...LOVE YOU TONS..Mom

  Started out with Labor Day and Lucas had it off so Micah joined us on a bike ride. We we’re still watching the Millett’s so we had Jane sleep over so she could watch Myla while we rode. Then we had breakfast and hung out there and then had all the cousins over for a swim party to celebrate Alli & Jacobs birthday. Myla started developing a rash around her eyes and mouth that seems to be caused from heat. It flares up in the car and after naps. So hopefully it will go away soon. Now What?

This past month has been different and not quite what I was expecting. This whole semester I had been working hard for ADI and with the hope that they would hire me on after the internship was over. They had been telling me multiple times that they love me and are trying to get a position open to keep me here for good. Having that said I was kind of banking of getting hired post graduation. Well a couple weeks ago Sue took me to lunch to inform me that they actually do not have a position available because Hotel Site Select has not taken off as fast as they were hoping and they will not have the money to pay me. I was pretty upset and sad because I really LOVE this business, and the other employees are so good to me, and I was already making my future plans to be with them. That lunch meeting was not the happiest, and I was pretty down the next week or so. October Beginning of Holidays

First day of the month and we had the Bodine ladies over for sister lunch which was really refreshing since we had been home all week not feeling good. It was a good time like always, I’m glad to have them as my sister in laws! Friday we did pickleball with the Skousen’s, Packard’s, and Standage’s for date night and it was super fun to be active and have a group date night! Saturday I had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding that was from 8:30am-7:30pm. It was looong but fairly easy since there is a lot of driving to different locations. It was also conference so I listened to a little bit during the drives. Sunday we started potty training... again. We woke up and “threw” the diapers away and made Myla say goodbye to them and she gladly did. Then we put on underwear and told her to tell us every time she has to go.
