House Hunting, Goat Yoga, Cake Fights

We started the month with watching the Millett kids and had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding on the Saturday which was different because most the ceremony was in Romanian. Then Sunday we watched conference with the Millett's and I was surprised at how well behaved they were. After that weekend Johnathan was my little buddy and he was so cute and cuddly with me. 
We had a night at home then started watching Bryan & Whitney Perkinson's kids and they were sick and the boys threw up every night. So every morning I was washing and changing sheets. Not the most fun gig I have had, definitely watched more TV than normal but that's all we had the energy to do since we had the bug. We finished watching them and then cranked out the lyrics and recording for our cake video and I sound horrible on the song but it's whatevs. 

We then went to the Zoo with the Webb's for Megynn's birthday and to Joe's farm grill. We then recorded Trennon & Cari Anne's part for the music video since they couldn't be here when we do the cake fight. 

Then the sad day of handing Charlotte my Chevy Equinox over to Cari Anne came. It was pretty emotional day, I didn't realize I was so attached to my car. I shed a few tears as I was driving her for the last time, but I am glad she is staying in the family. So I have my moms car now which is way nicer, but i definitely feel like an older lady driving her car and not young high school Trell. The 4 of us kids also did a gun handling class that my dad got us for Christmas which was great to learn more of the safety procedures and what not to handling a gun. 
That weekend we did GOAT yoga. It's something we had been wanting to try for a while and it was pretty entertaining and a great date for us! The middle of April we started looking for a HOUSE to BUY! We looked for about 2 weeks and everything was getting snatched up within hours and it got pretty discouraging. Then on April 20th around 10:30pm 2 houses we were interested in went up and we texted our realtor right then and said we want to see these houses tomorrow. So he made it happen and the first one was a great location but too small and too much money for the size. So we decided to look at the next one (even though we weren't super crazy about it from the pics) we showed up to the house and fell in love with it. It's 3 bedrooms 2 baths, a small backyard, great location for school and where a lot of students live. We told Michael we want to put an offer on it and that night it was in for $201,000 and it was listed at $199,000. The sellers realtor contacted us and said he has 4 more offers but since we were first offer in he would give us a chance to match the higher bid. So we said we would do it and they came back and said it was ours! 😬 we couldn't believe it and got sooo excited that we finally found a place that we could actually move into in time before Jerry & Netina get home. Our realtor and lender have been great getting everything done in time so we could close in time for us to move over there before getting kicked out. They house is on Hawes and Baseline so close to the 60 & 202 and we're pretty excited! 

The next day we did our cake fight for our music video and it turned out pretty good, I was worried only like 3 people would show up and we had about 15 so I was relieved and can't wait to work on it! 
The next week we watched the Hastings and they were pretty good kids, Elle didn't sleep too well at night which was hard to figure out what she needed... and then the last night Everett threw up all over his bed right before bed time so that wasn't the best timing. But we got it cleaned up and transferred the kids there after they fell asleep on the couch. I'm pretty good now at washing & changing sheets from throw up! 

The end of the month Nanna & Papa got their patriarchal blessing and it was so special to be apart of it! It talked a lot about them using their personality to be a light unto others and bring people into the gospel from their good examples. Whitney had her last piano recital and it was fun to see the kids play again. Ted threw a surprise party for Micah and Micah came in the back door and surprised all of us! It was pretty funny. That's a wrap for April and most exciting news of it all is about the House!!

  Started out with Labor Day and Lucas had it off so Micah joined us on a bike ride. We we’re still watching the Millett’s so we had Jane sleep over so she could watch Myla while we rode. Then we had breakfast and hung out there and then had all the cousins over for a swim party to celebrate Alli & Jacobs birthday. Myla started developing a rash around her eyes and mouth that seems to be caused from heat. It flares up in the car and after naps. So hopefully it will go away soon. We had Sunday dinner with my family and the boys had fun laughing Myla around In a box. This week I filmed Traci Beagley and her breast cancer journey and it was very powerful and I’m glad I was able to be apart of bringing awareness to so many. Now What?

This past month has been different and not quite what I was expecting. This whole semester I had been working hard for ADI and with the hope that they would hire me on after the internship was over. They had been telling me multiple times that they love me and are trying to get a position open to keep me here for good. Having that said I was kind of banking of getting hired post graduation. Well a couple weeks ago Sue took me to lunch to inform me that they actually do not have a position available because Hotel Site Select has not taken off as fast as they were hoping and they will not have the money to pay me. I was pretty upset and sad because I really LOVE this business, and the other employees are so good to me, and I was already making my future plans to be with them. That lunch meeting was not the happiest, and I was pretty down the next week or so. October Beginning of Holidays

First day of the month and we had the Bodine ladies over for sister lunch which was really refreshing since we had been home all week not feeling good. It was a good time like always, I’m glad to have them as my sister in laws! Friday we did pickleball with the Skousen’s, Packard’s, and Standage’s for date night and it was super fun to be active and have a group date night! Saturday I had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding that was from 8:30am-7:30pm. It was looong but fairly easy since there is a lot of driving to different locations. It was also conference so I listened to a little bit during the drives. Sunday we started potty training... again. We woke up and “threw” the diapers away and made Myla say goodbye to them and she gladly did. Then we put on underwear and told her to tell us every time she has to go.
