Wow, what a weekend! Spring break is the best ever! My new friend Brett wanted to go to Mexico the first part of the week really bad but I had receptions, and he asked about the last half of the weekend and I told him I had more receptions as well. But then after much convincing Brett got me to commit to going! It was super chaotic in the planning process because we went from staying at the trailer park, then to a condo that everyone was staying at, back to trailer and so forth! So going to bed Thursday night we made the decision to stick with the RV park because it was cheap, but then lost 6 people because they didn't want to stay in the park. (lame-o's) Waking up Friday morning I got the text saying we were good to go stay in the condo. So the 7 remaining of us were like sweet lets do it! But good thing Brett had doubts & still packed camping stuff because when we got to the condo we couldn't find Dan who had our wristbands and didn't want to wait for who knows how long and just headed to the RV Park. The boys set up camp and then we were off to the beach to soak up any last ounce of sun we could grasp. The water was chillier than expected but still refreshing, and then I whipped out the GoPro for the first time! My life has changed now that I have that beautiful Gem in my hands to capture the may more trips that will be taken. After playing for a couple hours on the beach and tracking down the Mango man it was TACO TIME!

So freakin delicious! We cruised around town for a bit and then headed back to camp. We took a group walk along the beach and then decided to plop down in a circle and give each other back massages, tell our most embarrassing moments, awkward situations, and ideal man or woman. Pretty basic questions to take friendships to another level. After that bonding moment we went back to get ready for bed while Jake & Coltin went skinny dipping in the ocean. It was a bucket list item Jake had to cross off! Sleeping arrangements were interesting Kelsey and I shared a twin air mattress and I slept like a baby, while everyone else I guess was up all night. I am so grateful I could sleep through the live mexican band that was playing til 4 am. Saturday we (I) was woken up by the sun and the boys were in love with my Lion Mane Hair! It was bad! We were ready and on the beach by 9:00 am and it was sunny and warm and so beautiful! We played lots of volleyball with these little boys we met there, and soccer, and frisbee. Around 10:30 we decided we should head down to Las Palomas to find Andrea and that group! Lucky us we DID spot Andrea and parked our stuff there. Also ran into Diane and Bradley :) We bought bracelets, rings, bandanas, got hennas, ice cream, and made the beach walkers love us. We did the Banana boat with 8 of us and that was a BLAST! The driver loved us because we kept saying faster faster so he lengthened the rope and then at the very end flipped the whole Banana over and got all of us off. So great!

After 6 hours on the beach we decided to go back and go into town to do more shopping an eat grub! First stop was fresh Pina Colada's oh boy was that heaven to my mouth! Pineapple and coconuts are two of my favorite things! We then went into town and did some shopping for junk we don't need but its cheap so we feel like we got a great deal! After that we took a break and sat on a wall and watch a guy who was high on who knows what, and drunk moaning for help because he rolled his ankle or something! His friends were icing him and then the police came and did nothing! Not sure there purpose for coming. While observing this we noticed the police mans baton was very worn down and you can tell it has been used a lot which is a scary thought to think about! For dinner we just got tacos and watch the sunset and then were blessed with the opportunity to hear sweet  personal melody's from a 4 man mexican band! We then went back to the campsite and some crashed for a nap while Jake Kelsey Mike and I talked, gave each other tattoos, did some riddles, and decided we wanted to go find our friends at the club.

First was getting a hotdog wrapped in bacon, topped with nacho cheese, beans, guacamole, ketchup, mustard, and anything else you can think of. Surprisingly enough they were delicious!! After multiple failed attempts at finding our friends at one of the clubs we ended up at Manny's and being the only ones on the dance floor. It was fun getting our dance jitters out and we made the most of it, good thing we will never see those people again! Then the night came to a close... kind of. Jake doesn't like to sleep so he kept me up til like 3:30am just talking and discussing our inside jokes. That kid... Sunday we went to church, couldn't understand a thing, but the spirit is still strong nonetheless. Then we packed up and headed home thinking we were going to have to wait forever at the border. Fortunately the line was not even that long! Super lucky! About half way through the drive I hopped up front to be in the middle front with the boys so I could jam better and we had a good time losing our voices and making fools of ourself. If you wanna check out all the footage click HERE for a great 8 minutes of pure happiness, fun, and laughter! The ending is the best!

This week is the inter-collegiate nationals tournament for Raquetball and I had my first doubles match on tuesday and lost baaaadd. We got unlucky and the other team had a lefty on the backhand and a righty on the right so both using their forehand was not great for us, and they were good! So hopefully tonight is better? Even though we are playing the number one spot.
