One Month til the Wedding!


We started off with going to conference with the Alvarado family and it was so great. It was both my parents first time going to conference so it was cool to experience that with them and learn from the prophet and apostles and be in the same building as them! Lucas & I went to his mission reunion so that was cool to meet his mission president and some old companions. We hung out with Daniel and Lauren for a day as well and it's always fun to catch up with Lauren and I'm glad she got to know Lucas better before we get married. We did a session in the Provo temple which was wonderful and then we of course had to stop at Cubby's one more time before we made the long drive home. The rest of the month was busy as it was crunch time before my wedding, but also my best friend Audrey was getting married, and Megynn in May as well. So we had a bachelrotte party, and bridal shower for Audrey and she got spoiled! I had a friend bridal shower this month too which was nice to have time to catch up with my friends that I don't see too often. 
 
Then I did a wedding in Sedona which was BEAUTIFUl and they had the most amazing reception with crazy dancing and bridal party. It made it a lot of fun to film. The 29th was Audrey & TJ's wedding and the sealing was beautiful and I loved seeing them both emotional and it was so cool to be there for them since we have all been there for each other since the beginning of dating. Their reception was fun and had a great dance party which is all that matters right? It got us really excited for our wedding! :) Which is so soon!! Eek.

September First Camping Trip with Myla

  Started out with Labor Day and Lucas had it off so Micah joined us on a bike ride. We we’re still watching the Millett’s so we had Jane sleep over so she could watch Myla while we rode. Then we had breakfast and hung out there and then had all the cousins over for a swim party to celebrate Alli & Jacobs birthday. Myla started developing a rash around her eyes and mouth that seems to be caused from heat. It flares up in the car and after naps. So hopefully it will go away soon. We had Sunday dinner with my family and the boys had fun laughing Myla around In a box. This week I filmed Traci Beagley and her breast cancer journey and it was very powerful and I’m glad I was able to be apart of bringing awareness to so many. Now What?

This past month has been different and not quite what I was expecting. This whole semester I had been working hard for ADI and with the hope that they would hire me on after the internship was over. They had been telling me multiple times that they love me and are trying to get a position open to keep me here for good. Having that said I was kind of banking of getting hired post graduation. Well a couple weeks ago Sue took me to lunch to inform me that they actually do not have a position available because Hotel Site Select has not taken off as fast as they were hoping and they will not have the money to pay me. I was pretty upset and sad because I really LOVE this business, and the other employees are so good to me, and I was already making my future plans to be with them. That lunch meeting was not the happiest, and I was pretty down the next week or so. October Beginning of Holidays

First day of the month and we had the Bodine ladies over for sister lunch which was really refreshing since we had been home all week not feeling good. It was a good time like always, I’m glad to have them as my sister in laws! Friday we did pickleball with the Skousen’s, Packard’s, and Standage’s for date night and it was super fun to be active and have a group date night! Saturday I had a Romanian Pentecostal wedding that was from 8:30am-7:30pm. It was looong but fairly easy since there is a lot of driving to different locations. It was also conference so I listened to a little bit during the drives. Sunday we started potty training... again. We woke up and “threw” the diapers away and made Myla say goodbye to them and she gladly did. Then we put on underwear and told her to tell us every time she has to go.
